Meet the Underdogs United!

On February 28th, 2023, I'll be hosting the cast and crew of an animated series produced during COVID lockdown. At any other time, this would just be a normal recording project for a cartoon- but because we had to work entirely within the limitations of COVID lockdown, there were some unique hurdles to overcome!

We'll talk about all that, and walk through the entire process. Digital Arts NY worked with casting director Andy Roth to assemble the team for Buenos Aires based animation company MundoLoco. You'll be able to ask questions and participate in the conversation as well! This is a free event (with a token donation to secure your spot), which you can sign up for here.

In addition to Andy Roth, we will be joined by the entire New York based cast, as well as the producers and writers of the series- plus some other special guests!

As a voice actor, Marc Thompson has amassed an IMDB credit list of over 220 cartoons and video games, including Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lego Ninjago, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and too many more to mention here. He has been both nominated for and won multiple awards for his dubbing work.

While his lengthy career in animation, anime and video games would be enough for most people- he has also handled all of the Star Wars audio books dating back to 2007!, as well as other notable books such as R. L. Stine's Goosebumps. As if this wasn't enough, he's also voice numerous commercial projects.

A full time voice actor for 13 years, Jeremy Levy voices the titular character in "Bumblebee: Transformers Cyberverse Adventures" (Cartoon Network) and "Rescue Bots Academy" (Discovery Kids), as well as Rack 'n' Ruin, Jetfire, Perceptor, Whirl, and Lord Gnaw. He also appears as Charlie Charma and Professor Mohn in "Pokèmon", the evil wizard Badalf in "Nella Princess Knight" (Nickelodeon), and now- Kiko in "Underdogs United" (Discovery Kids), and in video games like "Transformers: Battlegrounds" and "Killzone 3".

His commercial work includes national campaigns for Subway, Chipotle, Reebok, AT&T, Xfinity, Hasbro, General Mills, Bose, Van Heusen, Snickers, Trojan and many, many more. He has also narrated shows like MLS Insider (ESPN) and provided the in show voice for Celebrity Show Off (TBS)

Ryan Nicolls is a NYC based actor who has voiced characters on Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Transformers: Cyberverse & Rescue Bot Academy. He is the voice and motion capture reference for Sledge in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege and Rainbow Six: Extraction. Upcoming credits include Jodie for Paramount and The Girls on the Bus for HBO.

Grace Choi is a voice artist and a professional actor living in New York City. She has a background in opera and musical theatre, which allows her to stretch her voice as needed for a variety of characters. While maintaining an active voice acting career, Grace also appeared in a recent episode of Law and Order, as well as the Yu-Gi-Oh! TV series and video game. The energy she brought to her character for Underdogs United varies between off the charts and the sweetest thing you've ever heard.

For the past 22 years, you've been hearing Jason Yudoff on your TV and radio for numerous big brand commercials- State Farm, Bud Light, Pepsi, Verizon- as well as promos for Law and Order, Nickelodeon, ESPN, Starz and more. Jason has voiced numerous animation and video game projects as well- and can even be seen in an episode of Gotham! He is also an accomplished musician, and has even provided music for several film and TV projects!

We will also be joined by Monique Gabriel, who voiced several characters in Underdogs United, as well as producer Deborah Morabia and several of the shows writers.

This will be the FIRST TIME the cast has seen each other, since each character was recorded separately. This is also a reunion of the cast and crew! The amount of fun we had making this show during such a dark period will shine through as we discuss all of it! This will be a memorable evening FULL of information. See you there!
